Team shirts are provided for all players. Players purchase their own shorts/skorts and socks, available from Just Hockey, Enfield Street, Mt Eden.
Somerville arranges quality mouthguard fitting by a dentist early in the season, keep an eye on the club website for details.
We always need more coaches.
If you are interested in being a Team Coach please indicate this when you register. Coaches are generally responsible for match-day and practice-day coaching. Senior players who coach are acknowledged via the off-setting of their club fees in return for their coaching time.
Umpires are provided by Auckland Hockey Umpires Association (AHUA).
When there is a short fall, clubs are required to provide Club Umpires and these umpiring duties are allocated to players within each team.
The Club supports ACC Health and Safety policy, and in accordance with AHA rules it is compulsory for players to wear mouthguard and shin pads when playing or practicing hockey.
We have also developed some material to support the safe playing of hockey, and first aid tips.

Usually a week after the season finishes we like to celebrate the year that has been and the achievements.
It is a great opportunity to reconnect and celebrate the season, our coaches, managers and players. And most of all the people who make our club what it is.
