Premier & Reserves

TRIALS

The Premier teams are the flagship teams of our Club. Selection to a Premier team is first and foremost based on playing ability.

Being a “good” club member is a value that we hold strongly across our club regardless of what level a player is selected for.

  • There will be a minimum of 2 field trials.

  • Physical testing is at the discretion of selectors, but if required will supplement selector observations at field trials. An alternative testing date will be made available for those players who were unavailable at the initial test.

  • The Premier and Reserve trials are open to all senior players aspiring to play at this level. Players will be asked to attend Senior Division trials if unsuccessful.

  • Invitation/notification to remaining trials will be via email.

  • At the completion of the trial process teams will be notified 1-2 days following the final trial. This may not be the “final” team.

  • Players have 5 working days from notification date to except their place in the team.

  • Players will be given opportunity for verbal feedback should they request this from the Club Captain.

  • During the season, player movement between teams may occur to accommodate representative players and provide opportunity for individual player development.

N.B. The trial process may include pre-season matches.

Division

TRIALS

The Division teams are a mix of competitive and social players, therefore determined on skill level from the trial process.

  • There will be a minimum of 2 field trials.

  • At the completion of the trial process teams will be notified 1-2 days following the final trial. This may not be the “final” team.

  • Players have 5 working days from notification date to except their place in the team.

  • Players will be given opportunity for verbal feedback should they request this from the Club Captain.

  • During the season, player movement between teams may occur.
